Meet Braden, a people-oriented individual who genuinely loves just about everyone he meets. His lifelong passion lies in meeting people, nurturing and maintaining relationships, and creating spaces where individuals feel valued and connected. With a diverse career spanning Sales and Marketing in two Fortune 500 tech companies, a community-focused role as an elementary school teacher a.k.a. Coach Braden, and a plethora of side hustles ever since he can remember, Braden brings a wealth of experience in communication and relationship-building to The Caledonia.
After years and years of searching, his dream of providing a gathering place for people to come together found its fulfillment with the acquisition of The Caledonia.
With a keen eye for hospitality and a sincere love for community, Braden invites you to experience the warmth and camaraderie at The Caledonia, where every event is infused with his passion for people, quality time spent, and connection.

Julia is more than just an event planner; she's a maestro of celebration, infusing every occasion with her boundless enthusiasm and meticulous attention to detail. Among her many achievements, there are none more notable than the recent transformation of her century-old ancestral home. With a delicate balance of tradition and innovation, Julia breathed new life into this historic gem, creating a space that seamlessly merges the past with the present.
But Julia's talents extend far beyond her prowess in event planning and interior design. At home, she wears the hats of both loving wife and dedicated mother with grace and unwavering commitment. Together with her high school sweetheart, Julia is navigating the rewarding journey of parenthood, cherishing every moment spent with their two precious little boys. It's this deep-rooted devotion to family that serves as the driving force behind all of Julia's endeavors, infusing each event she orchestrates with a sense of warmth, intimacy, and genuine connection. -
Jenn Barlow
Allow us to introduce Jenn, whose lifelong passion for restoring old buildings was ignited during her formative years. Raised amidst the restoration endeavors of her parents on a historic family home in Layton on the corner of Gentile and Flint, Jenn developed a deep-seated appreciation for preserving architectural heritage. Armed with an undergraduate degree in interior design from Utah State University, she honed her skills further by working with a commercial architectural firm. Fueling her passion, Jenn pursued a master's degree in interior design with a specialization in historic preservation from the esteemed Savannah College of Art and Design.
Driven by a commitment to her roots, Jenn, alongside her family, embarked on a journey to restore her great-great grandparents' home and the original First National Bank Building, both cherished landmarks in Layton. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Jenn finds fulfillment in her role as a loving wife to her husband, Brady, and as a devoted mother to their two wonderful children. With each restoration project, Jenn not only preserves physical structures but also fosters a sense of heritage and community pride. -
Michelle Hurst
Michelle is a versatile and adventurous soul with a passion for exploration and creativity. Embracing the title of a "Jill of All Trades," Michelle thrives on diving into new endeavors, with her latest focus on home renovation and woodworking. Her dedication to design and event hosting shines through in her complete renovation of their home and her role as co-owner of two catering companies, where she eagerly anticipates sharing her culinary delights with guests at The Caledonia.
As a full-time librarian and cheer coach, Michelle extends her nurturing spirit beyond her professional roles, cherishing the opportunity to love and impact the lives of her students as if they were her own.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys traveling the world and discovering its rich histories. But above all, her life is complete getting cozy on the couch with her hubby, diving into a good book, and cuddling with her two standard poodles.

Currently residing in her hometown with her husband and two sons, she cherishes moments spent with her expansive network of friends and five beloved sisters, often bonding over shared activities, with sports being a favorite pastime.
Armed with a BS in Business Marketing from Utah State University, Bonnie brings a blend of academic prowess and real-world experience to her endeavors. Her diverse passions span from fitness and travel to nurturing her collection of plants and savoring the perfect cup of coffee. With a zest for life and a heart full of love for her community, Bonnie embodies the spirit of Layton.

Whether it's tinkering in the yard under the warm sun or reviving broken items with her knack for finding a good deal, Reagan is a resourceful problem solver with a talent for turning challenges into opportunities. Her love for outdoor work and DIY projects is matched only by her determination to save money while doing so. A true fixer-upper extraodinaire, Reagan is always ready to roll up her sleeves and bring new life to the old and forgotten.
