In 1998, as newlyweds, my husband and I made a trip from Southern California to Provo, Utah to have my first official chocolate-making instruction from my grandmother, Pauline Bailey Rasmussen. Chocolate making is an art and cannot be learned and mastered in one lesson. Every year after Thanksgiving, I would make the trek to Utah to learn how to make delicious beautiful chocolates. Every step of chocolate making requires great patience and awareness to detail. Every chocolate piece is a masterpiece, each individual piece requires continuous concentration and love.
